I fly my 140 Fusion at 6 to 7BFT on DC100Dan from Jorg. I weigh 88KG and the lines can withstand pulling me forward, and sometimes upward. Obviously try to minimize this by stepping forward when big force occurs. They also hold my Lutte Schantalle at 5-6Bft. Worth the money, Tim

2 1/2 hours of steady 7Bft, maybe an 8 gust here and there. The great news, no breakage and the Fusion was ripping on 100Dan lines from Jorg. I thought they may go here and there but they held. It was the perfect wind for the Fusion, the pilot was at the limit(88KG) as were the lines. The Little arrow was only on 25 meter lines so it was fast and furious(hopefully my eyes uncross by Monday). The Cubi did not see much air time as I was having a lot of fun with the other two and the wind started to die. Great day.

7-8BFT steady, heading out with the Cubi. 140 Fusion, and the Little Arrow. Report later.

There are 3 kites I fly above 7BFT(Does not get up there that much). Cubitron 130, which is the one I can control the best. Fusion 140 which I can control fine, but the power is way up there and have to go to 120 DAN(strongest I have) lines which are pulled tight. Little Arrow from HQ, which flies super fast at those winds and needs alot of concentration(or maybe I just fly the little one poorly), but is a blast. I attempted Lutte Schantalle at 6 or low 7 and blew out my 110DAN lines moving at full power in the middle of the window(my bad). Sail survived, but keel and a leading edge were gone(already fixed and back flying). This time of year we get some stormy winds. Interesting list you guys have put together, it was good reading.

Thank You Jorge for sending another Schantalle over to me. I know it is extra work to ship and I appreciate it.drachenforum.net/wcf/attachment/65867/

Jorg, that is really super nice, looks like something along that line will be for me when my turn comes around again(looking forward to the one currently on build).

The Whizz was my first speed kite about 3 years ago. Still have fun flying it. The cost in the US for a new Whizz was about 60 to 70 Euros back then. Lot of value. Shot of it flying in South Padre, Texas. Still moves well even compared to the ones I have from across the sea(which are awesome). If not for the Whizz, I would not be into speed kites. Thank you M Frank

The Subbutex 240 is quite the brilliant looking flyer

I just saw Heinz Ketchup's 170, that is a fantastic looking device. Huge shout out to you. Blue

I would like to thank the forum for moving me from struggling to fly my Whizz, to now being able to fly Fusion(170) and Tsunami(145,180). The posts regarding the tilt start allowed me to get the Whizz in the air, and it became my favorite to fly. Moonraker(always answers any questions super fast) advised me on which kites to get to further get better. I have been using a ramp(again from posts on forum) to start the Tsumanis and Fusion, resulting in very few start crashes. I still have some trouble always keeping the Tsunamis in the air(lose at edge or holes). The information on line strength and length have me always flying the thinnest lines for the wind which again allows flying success. Also big thanks to Korvo and Ledros for trusting that payment would be made by the guy from the USA, and sending the kites to me. There are no speed kite makers in the US that I know of. A different post will follow about the experience of payment options and costs of international purchase. You members already know what a great guy Korvo is. It was proven to me when my Fusion was lost in the USPS for a couple of months. Korvo made me a new kite and was going to send it(at no charge) when he found out the kite had not delivered, and was lost He did this without my asking. The original showed up before he mailed the new, so someone else got the second(and obviously I would have paid for it). I love the first. Hats off to the forum

The last two kites I puchased are a Fusion 170 from Korvo, and a Mamba from Blue Moon kites. I am in the schedule for a Schantelle form Jorg (April of 22), and will order more from Korvo. The reasons I buy from these craftsman are:
1) Reputation of the builder and the product in these type of forums
2) Ability to get the size and colors you prefer
3) I feel these builders really care about giving you the best effort in the product
4) Unique product, you do not see other kites like yours, helps small business stay in business
5) Poor quality on previous mass market kites. Does not mean all mass market kites are poor. I really like my Whiz, may get a little Arrow ...If I could do a quality sew job (never have been good at precise crafts), I would investigate making my own kites. I think I would rather allow the real craftsman to send me an awesome product, rather than settle for a mediocre or poor product made by me. I am very happy with my Mamba, and look forward to the Fusion (currently in transit). Working with Bernd was super easy, and based on his reputation here, the dragon should be awesome.

I agree on the practice, I am about 80% on my Whizz starts, it does not take much for the edge to break when it catches in the ground, just wondering if anyone has beefed it up or lugged it, as there is plenty of space in the edge sleeve.
