I don't know the Cesium, but in my opinion the Pulsar is not very suitable for a beginner, it's quite nervous, in the Kitehouse range the Sin is better, well balanced and reliable, easy to trick but not too radical.

It is possible to register even if you are not a member of stack Italia by paying an extra insurance (around 12 euros) in addition to the 10 euro registration fee for the competition.
The open competition is a ballett, no compulsories, we will try to make 2 competitions and keep the best result.

The CerviaCup 2023, a competition valid for the Italian STACK 2023 Championship, will take place from 29 April to 1 May 2023 at Pinarella di Cervia (RA), in collaboration and in conjunction with the 43rd International Kite Festival, organized by ArteVento.
The CerviaCup 2023 will be named after Tullia Trevisan, while the races reserved for Novice pilots will be named after Luigi Briglia, both dear friends of STACK Italia and of all of us who unfortunately passed away prematurely.
The competition for Experienced and Master pilots will be of the Open type and, given the opinions of the pilots and the opinion of the judges, will include only the ballet discipline (see International Sport Kite Rules Book - Version 3.0). It is expected to carry out two complete competitions and the final classification will be calculated based on the best overall score for each discipline.
Instead the competition for Novice pilots will be composed of the figures of precision and the technical routine. Also for the Novice pilots two races will be held and the final scores will be calculated as above for the Open race.
How to sign up...
The participation fees for the CerviaCup 2023, requested as reimbursement of expenses, are as follows:
DLI, MLI Experienced and Master: €25.00
DLP, MLP, DLT, MLT: €35.00
DLI, MLI Novice: €10.00
The following discounts are available for riders who will participate simultaneously in multiple disciplines:
Single driver registered for DLI or MLI, € 10.00 discount in case of simultaneous registration in another Individual discipline and € 7.50 discount in case of simultaneous registration in a Pair or team discipline (maximum discount of € 15.00 ).
Pair who has paid a full participation fee for a Pair discipline, € 15.00 discount in case of simultaneous participation in another Pair discipline or € 15.00 discount in case of simultaneous participation in a Team discipline (maximum discount equal to €15.00).
Team that has paid a full participation fee for a Team discipline, € 30.00 discount in case of simultaneous participation in another Team discipline.
The participation fees for the tender must be paid at the registration desk at the established times (see below). Only cash payments will be accepted. NO PAY - NO FLY.
The deadline for registering for the competition is April 16, 2023. For organizational reasons, STACK Italia reserves the right not to accept registrations that may arrive after this date. Any registrations accepted after this date will be subject to a participation fee equal to double the ordinary one. Due to insurance coverage problems, unfortunately foreign pilots will not be able to enroll after that date even if they pay the double participation fee. The Italian pilots of the Novice category, provided they are already STACK Italia members (see below), are the only ones who will be able to register for the competition even after that date (e.g.: the day of the race) without suffering penalties.
Participation in the tender is reserved for STACK Italia members only or for members of other national STACKs.
In order to allow the Board of Directors to accept the request to join the association in time for participation in the tender, the registration to the STACK Italia association by the new members who want to participate in the tender must be formalized by 16 April 2023 , both Open and Novice.
It is NOT possible to join STACK Italia in Cervia!
To simplify the management of the event, it is possible (for those who wish) to pay the participation fee in advance by bank transfer. It is also possible to pay the participation fee together with the membership fee to the association by means of a single bank transfer. The bank details of the association are:

Pilot card
In order to facilitate the speaker's work during the event, pilots are kindly asked to bring a completed copy of the pilot presentation form to the Registration Desk. Thank you.
Plan
The program of the event has not yet been fixed in detail. In any case, the following times are set for registration for the races and briefings:
SATURDAY 29 APRIL:
in the morning, after the briefing, Novice and OPEN races (the order will be decided on the day of the race)
SUNDAY 30 APRIL:
from the morning, after any driver briefing, Novice and OPEN races (the order will be decided on the day of the race)
MONDAY 1 MAY:
in the morning, eventual recoveries and Open and Novice competition awards
ATTENTION: the program of competitions and courses may undergo changes, even at the last minute, especially due to weather and wind conditions.
Precision figures
The precision figures among which those to be performed in the competition will be selected (the selection will be made by the judges on the day of the competition) are as follows:

N.B.: The aforementioned figures must be performed according to the schemes described in the ISK Compulsories Book, v3. Some can be seen animated on the ReedDesign website.
Audio supports for ballets
The musical pieces must be delivered to the audio mixer employee only on a "USB stick". The pilot must bring the USB stick with the music tracks contained in mp3 or wav format audio files. The files will then be copied to the PC connected to the mixer.
CD media is no longer maintained and therefore cannot be used.
Accommodation
STACK Italia has established an agreement with two hotels in Cervia.
1) The first is the Hotel Rudy. The hotel is located close to the pine forest and therefore very close to the area where the competitions will take place.
The agreement established with the Hotel Rudy, based on a package of at least 3 nights (generally overnight stays for 28-29-30 April, departure 1 May), provides for B&B treatment only (the hotel will not offer half board and full board ), provides ancillary services, any additional beds for children of all ages and is open to all members, family members, pilots participating in the CerviaCup, friends and supporters of STACK Italia.
2) The second is the Hotel Antony. The hotel is located in Pinarella. Based on room availability, hotel management may direct guests to the nearby Hotel Parigi. The agreement established with the Hotel Antony, based on a package of at least 3 nights (generally overnight stays for 28-29-30 April, departure 1 May), includes all types of treatment (B&B, half board and full board), it is open to all members, family members, pilots participating in the CerviaCup, friends and sympathizers of STACK Italia.

It's possible to register on the field, but also pre-register with an email to Artevento.
From april 29 to may 1 there will be a competition organized from stack Italy for 2 & 4 lines individual pair and team.
The field is 300/400 meters north from the center of the festival, ad is open also for demos.
Unfortunately I think that the field won't be ready before the weekend but still a good place to fly with stunt kites & long lines.
I'll post the link to Stack italy web site with competiton info as soon as the page is ready.

Im Bild in der Mitte sind die Maße angegeben, die direkt am Kite gemessen werden. Unten die Maße der einzelnen Schlaufen so wie sie geknüpft werden. Wenn die Schlaufen mittels Buchtknoten am Gestänge befestigt werden, sollten sich die Maße vom Bild in der Mitte ergeben.Don't know if I have already posted them here... the current Fieldcard Escape (incl. I want to test the Dario SUL bridle but I have a doubt: I thought 47.2/45.5/56.3 was the size of the bridle mounted on the kite, but in the fieldcard these measures includes the end loops.
Do these measurements of the bridle legs include the loops before being mounted on the kite?
I hope I expressed myself clearly !
