A European Freestyle Cup (the first one !) will be held on 13th and 14th September 2014 in the south of France, on the beach of [url=https://maps.google.fr/maps?q=maps+portiragnes&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x12b110ceade4bd0f:0xebb09030cb1b52e6,Portiragnes&gl=fr&ei=pC5-U8ynA-em0AXG5IG4Dg&ved=0CC0Q8gEwAA]Portiragnes[/url] near Béziers (Hérault - 34).
That competition is organised by Roger Tessa Gambassi, boss of R-SKY Kites and will be based on the TRICKS PARTY rules, and will be focussed on individual competitors (no pairs and no teams this year).
A STACK licence, or a FFVL licence will be required to compete.
The competition will be held as an integral part of EnvolissimÔ kite festival at the same site. More details on the venue will be communicated soon but in the mean time, please have a look at the airport website if you are considering participating : .
Within France, the city of Béziers is of course also part of the main train hubs, including the fast trains TGV.
On the logistics of the competition, sleeping facilities including mobile-homes, and various food vendors / restaurants are within walking distances of the competition field.
