the last one: TELICA

    Zitat

A new Telica movie onine: Telica on youtube

I finished it saterday and tested it today in low winds.

    My version:
    Scaled to 90%
    LE: P100
    Spine: P300
    LS: PT5
and 25 gr of weight, but I think I'll change it to around 20gr

The fabric is the color Orange. It was the only color that I had. So I tried to make this kite to find out if I like it. Conclusion: I will build the large one in my next vacation.

    Here is a picture:

And the next one has been born...

    It's a scaled telica (0.90) a(n) (S)UL

    The specs:
    LE P90
    LS 3PT
    spine p100
    US 5mm structil
185 grams without the extra weight set.

I didn't test it yet because of the wind. As soon as I 've tried it I will write a mini review... but first I have to print the templates!

The next project is a full size Telica, maybe without the winglets. Are there already people who tried the T. without the winglets? I am very curious.

I really like the orange seam you have on your trailing edge. Very nice!
As far as I know Skyforce works on a revised version of the Telica, without winglets. At least this is what I understand from his homepage, actually I don't really speak french... but I'm happy bablefish does ;)

Here's a newbie on this Forum.

Blok 73 is not the only flying Dutchman building a Telica.

He's going for his third, and i'm planning to make my first one; a UL in the weeks to come.

    LE P100; spine P100; US Exel 5mm; LS 3PT.

Let you know ow it looks 'nd flies.

    Lex.

And another one will be build. I've already the fabric and the rest of the materials. Now I need the time...

    Original von Mantamfg
    Looks very nice :H: :H: :H:

    Thanks to your design :H:
Before seeing it, I was realy confused about the Telica design.
Yours was straight and simple, I just needed to add a little of myself.

    Danke,

    Lex.

    And another one from Holland:

    Telica STD
    LE: P300
    US: Structil 6mm
    LS: 5pt
    Spine: 5pt

Still missing 2 standoff's since my leftover 3mm carbon rods were all too short. Should be here tomorrow.

    @ ALL,

I want to make my Telica UL even lighter and build a heavyweight too for Dutch coastal winds

    So I have 2 questions;
    - Does anyone have experience "venting" the Telica.
    - Where can I find details of a LE fully in ICAREX

I'd rather take a heavier sailcloth than Icarex. For the detailing, just reinforce the cutouts with some self-adhesive insignia-cloth. Do it after sewing, thenyou can replace it when it starts to fray after some time.
