I am not debating the observations made by franconow - just my conclusions are different, and these depend on personal expectations and last not least taste.
The LR glides rather well when it is totally undisturbed. It does so extremely gracefully and very slowly, and that is also visible in the video. But when you are out and the wind dies off, there may be still a little movement in the air. And this is when the LR reveals its own will and you have two choices, let it do what it wants or provide some guidance through the line. In the video, the sun went down and the air started to cool off but probably differently depending on what was on the ground (the grass area visible was actually not that large); I think air starts to move around in such situation, slowly but still impacting a kite as large, soft and lightweight as the LR. This is great fun for me - but will be frustrating for somebody who tends to value kites by the distance they are gliding on their own.
(Just as a reference point, I have not balanced any of my other Horvath kites (IBB, CLVD, UN, LRS, LWH) with weights or adjusting the bridle. I prefer them as they come - they may not glide as long distances as theoritically possible but they are slow and agile with the "factory defaults", at least the few which I got.)
