Yes, the OQS is a cord. I saw this on the „One“ from „level One“ and just wanted to test it. I have to say it works really well on my kite, the leadingedge can tighten a little which in my opinion has made it much more accessible. I also tested it with a 5mm bar as OQS. It also works but I liked it better with line.
Another advantage is:
You unpack it, put the UQS in the cross and you're ready to go 😀 and you can't lose the OQS

Is your top spreader made of string?? Never seen that. Would it work more as a Tension-er than a Spreader?
